Classification and registration of medicines and medical devices
The UAE who is a prominent member of the GCC, allows only certain entities to handle drugs and medical device registration. This regulation stands same for drugs that need to be classified correctly. Medical devices in the UAE needs to be properly coded and categorized as per the Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Health (DCD MOH).
